Diane Marvin is a member of the International Society of Appraisers (ISA) and has achieved the society's highest level of recognition as a certified appraiser of personal property (CAPP). Diane is certified in antiques and residential contents and has been appraising throughout Florida for over 20 years. Diane is currently serving as Vice President and Scholarship director on the board of the Foundation for Appraisal Education. FAE is not-for-profit organization that was formed to promote the advancement of education related to personal property appraising.
Diane earned her degree in studio art and studied art history at Bloomsburg University in Pennsylvania. After running a small antiques business for 7 years, she opened an appraisal practice serving primarily the legal and banking communities. Today, along with her partner, auctioneer and Antiques Roadshow appraiser, Stuart P. Whitehurst, she is the co-owner of Marvin & Whitehurst Appraisal Group, Inc.
